Procedures for preventing shoes from getting mildewed

According to the general shoes manufacturing craft, the factory's production process, and the characteristics of iHeir mouldproof products, we have summed up practical experiences and referred to the WAL - MART’s methods to control quality in the process of manufacturing. The following methods can inhibit the growth of mold effectively , so as to ensure the shoes without any mildew problems during the process of production, storage and transportation, and solve the dangers of the mildewed shoes completely.

ONE For the leather materials which have too much oil or fiber such as suede, factories should send some samples of the materials for our company (iHeir) to do microbiological tests before mass production. For nutrients and microbial testing contents of animal fat, plant fat, mineral lipids, starch, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, they should be determined whether they need to do special treatment. Usually, this kind of material have a higher mildew risk, so we suggest spraying iHeir – Spray Antifungal agent.

TWO The humidity of heel can’t exceed 9%, especially the leather heel and the wooden heel. If you use aqueous adhesives, you should add 2%-3% iHeir-JS (Gluewater Antifungal Agent) in aqueous adhesives or hardener. Please pay attention that after coating the surface oil, dry the leather heel and then wax it, in order to prevent the mildew problems caused by humidity after waxing.

THREE The lace must be completely dry, especially the lace that has waxed, for the lace can cause moisture. In fact ,its humidity can’t exceed 8%. Spray iHeir-Spray before tying lace, and use after the lace is completely dry. (Shoe laces are not easy to spray evenly, so we suggest spraying again by increasing dose）

FOUR The water vapor of the glue using thermal laminating material is not easy to dry completely. We suggest cooling completely after fitting. After that, put the material into the bag (The jointed lines can be extended appropriately from cooling distance), and make sure the humidity is no more than 8%. We also suggest adding 1-3% iHeir-JS gluewater antifungal agent into the water-based laminating white glue .

FIVE For PU sandals, we suggest choosing detergent who has mouldproof effects to clean, or add 3%-5% antifungal agent directly in ordinary detergent.

SIX The pose-processing materials should be dried completely, such as waterborne resin, wax oil and feeling agent .

SEVEN For normal leather, every square foot should spray 2g (iHeir-Spray), but if the leather has heavy moisture, long fiber and heavy oil, we suggest that you should increase the dose of iHeir-Spray. Remember the lace, shoe throat, and shoe heel are all needed to spray. For woolen boots, it is better to spray the woolen part. Dry completely after spraying fungicide (Whether it has sterilizing box or not, please dry for 2 minutes, or dry in the 2-metre-high oven at about 40-50°C).

EIGHT The air compressor should pour out water regularly or install an air filter, for fear that the first spraying would bring water from the pipe, causing mildew problems.

NINE Don’t adjust the vacuum freezing box for frosting ,because it is difficult to dry. Cooler is easy to stay water vapor, so we suggest cleaning the inner wall of the cooler with fungicide.

TEN Spray the mono-layer or the inner part of box of the fabric materials that their chromaticity is not good ,such as pure-white shoes, glazed sheepskin, gold painting sheepskin and bright leather.

ELEVEN The inner box must be dried, and its humidity cannot exceed 12%.Please dry the shoe box in the oven before packaging. If not ,the shoes box should be brushed with iHeir-Spray.(1g/box)

TWELVE The outer container ‘s humidity can’t exceed 11%. If not, please spray moderate iHeir-Spray before packaging. Seal tightly all around, and then shift to the special warehouse .

THIRTEEN  If there is no special warehouse (wet abstracting room), don’t pile up the finished shoes on the floor. Separate them with pallet and make them 50cm far away from the wall. Let the air ventilate, and record the humidity and the temperature once a week. Spray fungicide in leather warehouse, packaging warehouse, and finished products warehouse regularly. It can reduce the content of the microbes in the surrounding environment and avoid the pollution to products or materials.

FOURTEEN  Use BioDry desiccant in order to keep shoes box dry. Don’t open the packaging before use, and remember the package that is not using off during the day should be sealed up in order to prevent damping, causing efficacy loss.

FIFTEEN Select DC. odorban cationic package paper, Dc.odorban cationic antifungal non-woven bag, and Dc.odorban cationic antifungal bag, which have the effects of killing bacteria, to pack the shoes. For shoes that have PU and low mildew risks, we usually suggest using Dc.odorban cation package paper and Dc.odorban cation antifungal non-woven bag to replace copying paper and ordinary non-woven bag. If some shoes are made from high oil leather and long fiber fabric, you can package shoes with Dc.odorban antifungal bags directly. This is because Dc.odorban antifungal products has long carbon chain structure and positive charge, which can attract mold with negative charge, pierce into cytoderm of the mold , and destroy its food chain to make sure the products will not get mildewed. Dc.odorban antifungal paper uses the vacuum packing, so please seal the sealing that is not used off during the day.

SIXTEEN  Check the container whether it is clean or leaked. If necessary, use the special antifungal agent to avoid happening cross infection. Control the container rain with drying rod in order to reduce the risk of getting mildewed.
